Bulldog Men and Women WIN Patrick Henry Inv.

On Saturday the Celina Tracksters participated in the Third Annual Patrick Henry Inv., with outstanding results.  The Women more than doubled the point total of their nearest comnpetitor as they Won for the third time in three years.  The Ladies WON nine events, set four meet records, placed second four times, and third twice, on their way to scoring 155 points.  Julie Snyder was selected Female MVP as she WON all four of her events (3 in meet records).  Cayla Hellwarth, Eryn Langenkamp, and Melissa Roth all broke meet records on their way to winning events.  Kelsey Waterman had an excellent meet with a career fastest time, placing second in the 400.  The Men used a balanced 'team' effort on their way to the championship.  CHS scored 132 points to edge Elmwood by 16 points.  The Men WON four events, placed second five times, with three thirds.  The Bulldogs depth was demonstrated as Celina two athletes score in nine events.  Kelby Rosengarten broke his own meet record in winning the 300 hurdles.  Jacob Archer set a new standard in taking the shot put.  Andrew Goodwin crossed the line first in the 3200 run for the Bulldogs other individual win.

The Dogs are in action again on Tuesday as they travel to Elida for a 4:30 start.
