Celina's Current Collegiate and Post Collegiate Track Athletes

Celina Track Athletes competing at the collegiate level, and beyond, during the 2008-09 school year.


Shawn Caruso - Universiry of Findlay - junior - Middle Distance: Shawn opened his indoor season Saturday. Dec 6 at the Findlay Oiler Opener.  Shawn ran collegiate bests times of 2:00.49, in winning the 800 and sub :50 as a member of Findlay's winning 4 x 400 relay.  Next up...Jan 10 at the Eastern Michigan Inv.
 
Jenna Schmitmeyer
- Ball State University - junior - 400 Hurdles / middle distance: Opens her 2008-09 season on Jan 16 at home in the BGSU Challenge.  

Ben Siebert - Bluffton University - junior - Middle Distance: Opens his 2008-09 season Jan 16 at Ohio Northern.   

Brad Siebert - Capital University - junior - Middle Distance: Opened his 2008-09 season Saturday night, Dec 6, at the Capital University Purple and White Invite.  Brad placed 7th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:24.12.  Next up...the Capital Rev Mike Hout Inv on January 10.  

Lindsey Schmitmeyer - University of Findlay - sophomore - Middle Distance: Lindsey opned her indoor season Saturday, Dec 6 at the Findlay Oiler Opener.  Lindsey placed 4th in the 800 with a time of 2:18.73.  She also ran a sub :60 anchor leg of Findlay's 4th place 4 x 400 relay.  Next up...Jan 10 at the Eastern Michigan Inv.

Eryn Langenkamp - Youngstown State University - freshman - multi-event (heptathlon and pentathlon) / pole vault: Eryn began her collegiate career at the Kent State Golden Flash Gala.  She placed 14th in the indoor pentathlon with 2817 points.  The pentathlon is comprised of five events (60-m hurdles, high jump, shot put, long jump, 800-m run) with point totals given to performances in each event.  Eryn hurdled 9.35, HJed 4' 9.5", SPed 29' 0", LJed 15' 11.5", and ran 2:53.66 in the 800.  Next up...Jan 17 at the Doug Raymond Inv at Kent State University.

Kelby Rosengarten - Hillsdale College - freshman - hurdles / sprints: Kelby opened his collegiate career at the Findlay Oiler Opener on Saturday, Dec 6.  Kelby finished 2nd in the 60-m 42" HH, running 8.87 in the prelim and 8.75 in the final.  He also ran a :53 split for Hillsdale's 4th place 4 x 400 relay.  Next up...Jan 9 at the Open.

Melissa Roth - Malone College - freshman - Distance: Begins her indoor season on Jan 17, 2009 at Kent State.

Julie Snyder - University of Toledo - freshman - multi-event (heptathlon and pentathlon): Julie began performed well at the Grand Valley State University Holiday Open.  She placed 3rd of 30 in the long jump (5.52m, 18' 1.5"), 4th of 17 in the high jump (1.62m, 5' 3.75"), and 5th of 30 in the 60-m IH (9.34 in the prelim, 9.21 in the final).  Next up...Jan 4 at Western Michigan University dual.
