Runnin' Dogs ready for District.

The Celina Runnin' Dogs are headed to Ottawa Saturday, October 24 for Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) District competition. For the first time in school history the Boys are competing in Division II (due to drop in school enrollment). The Ladies have been D-II for a number of years. Thirteen schools will compete at the D-II District for Regional births. The top four schools in both the boys and girls races earn the right to run in Tiffin Region on Oct 31. Individuals who finish in the top 16 positions also garner a trip to Regional. The Dogs will be led by a pair of seniors, Andrew Goodwin for the guys and Ashley Figel for the gals. Also taking the Ottawa Park 5000-meter course for the Dogs will be Ashley Coon, Katlin Robinson, Claire Schmitmeyer, Marissa Gibbons, Holly Thobe, Jamie Owens, Chris Nusbaum, Zach Mitchell, Peyton Jones, Jared Owens, and Andrew Huff.
